Ian
this is our newest excitement. ian is about 17 months old. we don't know his whole story, but we do know that we are at least the third group of people to take care of him. though he is about 17 months old, he is wearing clothes that are made to fit 3-6 month olds. apparently a previous care taker was feeding him vegan and therefore he wasn't able to fatten up, as all babies should. we are gradually getting him to eat more solid foods and weaning him off of his bottle. we were very proud when he ate 4 "meals" the other day. these meals usually consist of pureed fruits and or veggies, mixed with baby cereal, yogurt, or our recently discovered sneak attack of pureed chicken for protein.
ian was also being cared for along with a 2 and 1/2 year old little girl named Zoe. she was going to stay with the previous family, but we found out today that they decided to put her in our care, as well. we will get Zoe on monday.

What fun! Playing with these cute little babies! I would have such fun with them, wanting to bring all of them home after hearing their stories, I'm sure.
Can we send baby clothes for Ian and some of the other kids?
