It finally happened - on January 29th, Jennie and Miguel were married. After about a 30 minute drive through the cane fields, we arrived at Playa Boca Nueva. Since it's so out of the way, there weren't too many random stragglers around, though there was a great turnout of friends and family, both American and Dominican, to witness the wedding. Jennie's pastor from California also came to perform the marraige in both English and Spanish.
