insomnia & hymns
i was trying to fall asleep last night and, as usual, it just wasn't working. it was probably due to the 3 cups of coffee (plus a glass of tea) i had throughout the day, but we'll pretend it was my typical insomnia.so i finally went back to the strategy of my treasured ipod and some of the tranquil music that it holds. i ended up choosing some musically revamped hymns sung by chris rice. when the first song came on i thought something to the effect of, "this is probably my favorite hymn." then the next one came on, and i thought the same thing. and again, and again. so basically, i can't pick a favorite hymn. instead, i'm going to post the lyrics of one and strongly encourage you to check out this album.
