H-E-B creamy creations

so i was at the grocery store one day needing to restock my ice cream supply. being the value shopper that i am, i was shopping at my local H-E-B. and, again being the value shopper that i am, i was decided to take a chance on the less expensive store brand. now mind you i usually don't take such risks with something as important as ice cream. but considering my current career path and the ever diminishing returns for my work, i decided it was worth the risk just this once. and this is one risk for which i am thankful i was brave enough to take.

H-E-B creamy creations is my new weakness. i had two helpings of it just tonight. from homemade vanilla to candy bar classic, and the mint chocolate chip in between, i have yet to be disappointed.

from a true connoisseur of ice cream, here is one high recommendation. and for those who are unfortunate enough to not live in Texas and therefore unable to try this delectable treat, i truly pity you. you should get here quickly - if not just to be in Texas, but also to partake of this delightful dessert.

a new year, a new start

this is a new start for my dear ol' blog. it originally began way back in, well, i don't even remember. it was at least as far back as the spring of 2003, but possibly earlier. and because i have a tendency to reveal too much of myself when i write, it became a bit more of a journal that was not appropriate for an audience for more than a handfull of people.

s0 in light of the new year (yes, i do realize the year is 26 days old, but out of 365, that's new enough for me) i'm starting a new blog. this one will remain appropriate for the wider public. i welcome all comments, good and bad, to ensure that it remains interesting to all.
