i should be working...

...but i'm a little bit distracted today. it's exactly TEN days till my wedding day. I have 4.5 work days left. i have not much planning left to do, but i do have an unfortunate amount of moving left to do (any amount of moving, to me, is an unfortunate amount).

so here i sit, doing my best to stay focused on the task at hand. counting down the slowly moving hours.

*sigh*

twenty six days

so it's been a while since i've posted. a lot has been going on. wedding planning, mostly. and pre-marital counseling. and trying to stay sane as the days pass more slowly than they ever have in my entire life.

but at least there are only twenty six (26) days left. twenty six days and 1 hour to be exact.

things checked off the list, both major and minor:
venue booked
dress bought
caterer/baker/florist booked
bridesmaids dresses bought
guys' suits bought
photographer booked
engagement photos taken
bridal portraits taken
wedding shower attended - and many fun gifts opened
invitations sent
song/singer chosen


tomorrow is groundhog day. and the first time in several years i won't be watching the movie with my student NOR my friends. i won't be watching it with my students because i no longer have my own class to teach. i won't be watching it with friends because we'll be at community group.

tomorrow is also the season premier of the last season of LOST. i won't be watching it, either, for the same latter reason. hopefully we can plan to catch up on hulu after the wedding :)
